Laziz's Humus bi ta-hi: Arabic for "hummus in tahini."
and the Gardener's Market!

Definitely an unexpected treat - especially at 9 am!

If you're looking for authentic Lebanese food. You can also find Laziz (which is an "adjective meaning tasty, enjoyable or pleasant." in SLC - they offer catering too. I hear their product will soon be available at Lee's Marketplace too.
facebook.com/lazizfoods.

On the left is their hummus (oil-free), the middle product is Toum - a raw garlic condiment &
on the right, their Muhammara - a   delicious red pepper & pomegranate spread that has a bit of heat to it.

Here's my harvest from today's gardener's market - only one more Saturday left this year!

This is called Gallectica lettuce - so beautiful, we had to bring home 2 bunches.

On the top right is Sorrel. We sampled a small bit of its leaf & received quite a surprise! A burst of lemon juice squirts into your mouth - honestly, you'll have to try it.

Almost all you have to do is look at these beets & get healthy!

Lots of fun at the gardener's market today - it was "Trick or Treat Saturday.
